RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
A Catholic-Christian: To be or not to be; That is the question!
Life seems full of such choices which seen to put us “on the line”, as we say. To enter into the program known as RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is not a light decision. It involves time, energy, and emotional commitment. The RCIA is for adults who have:
- Never been baptized;
- Have been baptized in another Christian community;
- Have been baptized but need to receive the Sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation;
- Catholic-Christians who have “been away” and would like to reconnect.
It usually takes a few initial sessions to “feel at home” in the program, so don’t be afraid to “taste and see” whether you’ll benefit from RCIA program here at Holy Name Church.
RCIA Classes are every Wednesday evening from 7:30-9:00 PM in the Pastoral Center (1555 39th Ave. San Francisco, CA).
